Media
filters are commonly used in many industrial applications either as a
primary process treatment or as a final polishing stage. When installed
downstream of a clarification system, media filters will remove traces
of solids often allowing wastewater to be recycled. AJM's media filters
are constructed from stainless steel, mild steel, fibreglass, or
polyethylene. |

GAC Filters
Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Filters are used for the removal of soluble
organic material. GAC readily adsorbs organics leaving a purified waste
stream suitable for discharge to sewer or reuse. AJM can select a grade
of GAC to target particular substances in each application. This important
selection of GAC prolongs its life and reduces operational costs. GAC
filters are normally installed downstream of media filters. |
