HUBER
RotamatÒ Ro1 Fine Screens are an in channel
screen with a cylindrical basket that screens the waste water. Screen
apertures include 6 and 10mm. The Ro1 Screen can handle a large range
of flow rates, from 1 L/sec through to 3000 L/sec. Basket diameters range
from 600mm through to 3000mm. The Ro1 Fine Screen includes an integrated
screenings removal and pressing conveying, all driven from one drive shaft.
The Ro1 is commonly used for screening sewerage, sludge, industrial sludge
and septic sludges.
HUBER RotamatÒ Ro2 Wedge Section Screens
are in channel screen with wedge wire basket. The screen apertures range
from 1mm to 6mm. Flow range is from 1 L/sec to 2000 L/sec. Basket diameters
range from 600mm through to 3000mm.The Ro2 Wedge Section Screen includes
an integrated screenings removal and pressing conveying, all driven from
one drive shaft. The Ro2 is ideal for all waste waters, including abattoirs,
tannery, food processing and sewerage.
HUBER RotamatÒ Ro9 Microstrainer is an
in channel spiral screen. The Microstrainer is used in smaller applications
were a narrow screen is required. Screen apertures range from 0.5mm to
6mm. Flow range is 1 L/s to 80 L/s. The Ro2 is ideal for all waste waters,
including abattoirs, tannery, food processing and sewerage.
Step ScreenÒ is a fine bar screen with
3 and 6mm apertures. Step ScreenÒ is a high efficiency screen with
intermittent operation. Operating and maintenance costs are minimal. The
screen has a high capacity capability and is available in many different
models, making retrofits easy.
Step ScreenÒ Vertical has been designed
for deep channel installations. The SSV range can be installed in channels
with a depth of 3300mm through to 6500mm. A patented screen design allows
the Step ScreenÒ Vertical to be installed at 75 degrees.
HUBER Ro13 Drum Screen is a unique drum screen that includes an integrated
screw for screenings removal and pressing. The machine is enclosed in
a stainless steel main case. Flow range is 1 L/s through to 60 L/s. Screen
apertures is 0.25mm to 6mm. The Ro13 Drum Screen is ideal for all industrial
applications including food processing, dairy, abattoirs, tanneries as
well as sewerage.
ClimbmaxÒ is a coarse bar screen with
a bar spacing ranging from 10 - 50mm. The screen is used in applications
involving heavy grit loads, river water screening and sewerage screening.
HUBER RoK4 is a screen that has been designed for use in small pumping
stations. The screen basket is fitted to the sewer line upstream of the
pump well. A specially designed vertical screen removes the screenings,
up to a height of 10 metres. The RoK1 offers the advantage of screening
prior to pumping.
Screens are usually essentially for pretreatment of waste prior to DAF
or clarification processes but in certain applications can be used as
a sole pretreatment method. There are several types of screens available
from the compact and economical AJM Wedgy to the more complex vibrating
or rotary systems. It is important when selecting screens that the most
suitable unit in terms of maintenance, cleaning, size of apertures and
cost are properly assessed.
