Automatic Powdered Polymer Blending / Make-up Systems  

Systems Available:

The SureBlend^® range of automatic powdered polymer blending and preparation systems are available in the PBT Series and TOM Series. The SureBlend^® PBT Series is for small to medium applications whereas the TOM Series is for high loading application.

 
Operating Principle:

The SureBlend^® automatic powdered polymer systems are based on a two-tank system, which allows the preparation of a fresh polymer batch in a mixing tank whilst dosing to the process occurs from the storage tank. This allows the continual batching of a fresh polymer solution.

Dry polymer is accurately metered into the mixing tank via the use of a helical screw that is driven by a three phase motor. The batch concentration can be adjusted by altering the dosing time of the screw. SureBlend^® ensures that the polymer is properly dissolved to ensure no wastage of polymer occurs and that no fish eyes are formed.

The mixing tank allows for the full dissolution of polymer which ensures that no polymer is wasted and that the polymer solution is fully activated prior to dosing to the wastewater treatment plant.

Scope of Supply:

SureBlend^® systems are offered as complete skid mounted units that includes dosing pumps, wiring, piping and control system. The control panel and wiring fully complies to AS3000.

 
Installation:

Simply lower the skid into position and connect power and water.

Options:

A series of options are available and these include:

• Additional dosing pumps
• Calibration cylinders
• Flow switch
• Material upgrade
